Jersey City needs an independent voice to advocate for the causes and issues the current administration has neglected. Jersey City needs a loyal opposition. The Jersey City Civic Committee will advocate for an equitable, ethical and quality City government. Governmental actions favoring the wealthy and politically connected must be opposed, while policies that promote fairness, meritocracy and excellence in governmental performance must be advanced.
